Vancouver fans of the Jonas Brothers were treated this week to sightings of the music superstars on set for a Disney film, just days before their huge Rogers Arena concert.
Photos and videos shared on social media show Nick, Kevin, and Joe on set for Camp Rock 3 at Barnet Marine Park in Burnaby.
Jonas Brothers superfan Cali Ali ran into the two-time Grammy nominees in Vancouver and even got an autograph. She told Daily Hive that the experience was a real joy.

“I have been a Jonas Brothers fan since 2007, and I am so lucky to have their music be the soundtrack of my life,” Ali said. “They are truly the most down to earth, genuine and caring celebrities ever. They treat every fan as if they were their very own family.
“The Joe, Nick and Kevin you see on stage is exactly the amazing and caring human beings you get off the stage.”
Camp Rock 3 is the latest film in the Disney musical film franchise, and it also co-stars Demi Lovato. The previous film, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, came out all the way back in 2010.
Photos of the set at Barnet Marine Park show a giant Camp Rock sign, canoes and kayaks by the lake, a classic car, and a huge crowd of extras.
A notice posted at the park confirmed the production title as Rock the Boat, which Creative BC has listed as filming from mid-September to Tuesday, Oct. 28.
“All three Jonas Brothers walked right past my daughter and her friend,” Cath told Daily Hive. “My daughter had her nose buried in her book as they walked by at close proximity, but looked up when she ‘smelled something expensive.’
“Her friend – normally pretty gregarious – was utterly dumbstruck as the Brothers went by, but she too agreed: those guys smelled really good! It was a really fun set.
There are rumours that Lovato is also in town for filming on Camp Rock 3, but fans nearby confirmed that it was not the “Cool for the Summer” hitmaker.
“It’s amazing being a fan of the Jonas Brothers,” added Ali. “It’s beyond wonderful how they have built such a dedicated community through their career. I wouldn’t have some of my greatest friends if it weren’t for them.”
With the Jonas Brothers just days away from bringing their Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour to Rogers Arena, there’s a good chance that more sightings of the trio are on their way.
They aren’t the only celebrities who have recently visited Vancouver. Comedy superstars John Mulaney and Zach Galifianakis were recently spotted at an iconic Vancouver dining spot.
And podcast star Alex Bennett revealed the best things about Vancouver to her fans during a recent trip to the city.
