One of B.C.’s largest pop culture events is just around the corner, and we can add stars from a legendary locally filmed series to the list of celebrities coming to the show.
Fan Expo Vancouver has announced that Kristin Kreuk and Tom Welling of Smallville fame will be reuniting when the convention is in town from Saturday, Feb. 14 to Monday, Feb. 16.
There will also be many other special guests, activities, and events to experience at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Tickets are on sale now.

It will be Kreuk’s first appearance at her hometown Fan Expo.
The People’s Choice Award winner starred as Lana Lang in all 10 seasons of Smallville, which was filmed in and around Vancouver from 2001 to 2010.
Kreuk also starred in and produced Beauty & The Beast, portrayed the title character in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, and executive-produced and starred in the acclaimed series Burden of Truth.
Smallville fans also won’t want to miss Welling at Fan Expo Vancouver in February. In addition to bringing Clark Kent to life, he also appeared in Cheaper by the Dozen and other hit shows like Lucifer.
Fan Expo Vancouver recently revealed that none other than the Hobbits from The Lord of the Rings — Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, and Dominic Monaghan– are coming to the event.
Frodo (Wood), Samwise Gamgee (Astin), Pippin (Boyd), and Merry (Monaghan) will meet and greet fans celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, which launched the legendary film franchise.
Thousands of visitors are expected to flock to the three-day celebration at the Vancouver Convention Centre, drawing in fans of sci-fi, horror, comic books, and everyone in between.
