More of the cast for the TV show based on the best-selling Anna Pigeon series, which is being filmed in Alberta, has been revealed, and it’s loaded with exciting talent.
The series will focus on titular character Anna Pigeon, a woman trying to flee her traumatic past by becoming a park ranger, only to find herself embroiled in a series of crimes committed in the vast American wilderness, according to the USA Network, which ordered the series from Cineflix Studios and December Films.
The series’ latest cast additions highlight key characters that will help bring the story to life.

Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz is a Toronto-based actor portraying the role of Manny Lopeź, a park ranger with a gentle soul. His career has led him to roles in Reacher, Shazam!, and Special Correspondents.
Ryan Northcott will play Geoff Miller, Anna’s boss and park supervisor. Northcott was born in Calgary and has appeared in many shows such as Heartland, Unspeakable: The Murder of JonBenet Ramsey, and Mystery, Alaska.
Cooper Levy is set to portray the role of Jesse Garland, Anna’s on-again off-again love interest. Levy has appeared as a guest star in Murdoch Mysteries and Sheriff Country.
Paulina Alexis from Reservation Dogs and Ghostbusters: Afterlife will take on the role of a young park ranger who looks up to the titular character.
Tricia Helfer will play Anna’s older sister, Molly Pidgeon, a psychiatrist in New York. Helfer is known for her roles in Battlestar Galactica and Lucifer.
The series will be based on The New York Times best-selling book series, Anna Pigeon, written by Nevada Barr over the past three decades. A total of 19 books have been penned by Barr for the series.
Anna Pigeon is set to debut on USA Network sometime next year. A specific premiere date has yet to be announced.
